Your week, in one message
Updated .
A weekly summary on WhatsApp is a single message that looks back at your last seven days. Mindie sends one every Sunday: how many reminders you finished, which ones are still open, the notes you saved and the topics you talked about. You read it in under a minute and reply to deal with anything left over.
Most reminder tools only look forward. They tell you what's due next and forget what slipped. The recap closes that loop, so an open task from Wednesday doesn't quietly disappear.

How to get a weekly recap on WhatsApp
- Open an account on getmindie.app. Every feature, the recap included, is free for 7 days.
- Pair your number. Copy the six-digit code the site shows and send Mindie "verify" with that code on WhatsApp.
- Use Mindie during the week. Set reminders, save notes, make lists. The recap is built from that activity, so there's nothing extra to set up.
- Read Sunday's message. Mindie sends it on its own.
- Reply to tidy up. Move an open reminder, ask about a note, or plan the week ahead in the same chat.
What the summary of your week looks like
A typical recap reads like this: "Your week: 6 reminders done, 2 still open (renew the car insurance, call the bank). You saved notes on the Q4 plan and a packing list for Lisbon." Short, specific and in plain words, with the open items named so you can act on them.
If the week was quiet, you get a brief note rather than a recap full of zeros.
Replying to your recap
The recap is a message like any other, so your answer goes straight back to Mindie.
| You send | Mindie does |
|---|---|
| move the bank call to Tuesday at 11 | Reschedules the open reminder |
| what reminders do I have this week? | Lists what's coming, with dates |
| what did I save about the Q4 plan? | Finds the note by meaning, not exact words |
| show my packing list | Sends the saved list |
| every Friday at 5pm remind me to plan next week | Sets a weekly recurring reminder |
| delete the car insurance reminder | Names it and deletes only after a plain yes |
Using it for a weekly review of tasks
A weekly review is a habit many people try and drop, because it means opening several apps and adding things up. The recap does the adding up for you. A simple routine:
- Read the open items first. Those are the reminders that didn't happen.
- Move or drop each one. Give it a new day, or delete it if it no longer matters.
- Check your saved notes. Anything that should become a task gets a reminder now.
- Look ahead. Ask "what do I have this week?" to see reminders, and calendar events if you've connected one.
Because all of this happens in one chat, the review fits into a few minutes on a Sunday.
Who finds the recap useful
- Freelancers and founders who want to see which follow-ups slipped before Monday starts.
- Parents juggling school, bills and appointments across the week.
- People who save lots of notes to self and want a reminder of what they captured.
What Mindie doesn't do
- It doesn't report on your WhatsApp in general. The recap covers only your chat with Mindie, not your other conversations.
- It doesn't send the recap to anyone else, including groups or colleagues.
- It doesn't write long reports. It's a short summary, not a document.
Privacy
Mindie only sees messages sent to it, never other chats or contacts, which is why the recap can only describe your activity with Mindie. Messages are never sold or used to train AI models. Text "clear our chat" to wipe your history. The privacy policy has the rest.
Pricing
The recap is part of the one Mindie plan. Start with a 7-day free trial, then pay $9 a month or $90 a year (two months free). The first payment carries a 7-day money-back guarantee, and texting "cancel" stops your plan any time. See pricing.
Questions
When does the weekly recap arrive?
Once a week, on Sunday, in your chat with Mindie on WhatsApp.
What's in the weekly summary?
It covers the past 7 days: the notes you saved, the reminders you completed, the reminders still open, and the things you talked to Mindie about.
What if I barely used Mindie that week?
A quiet week gets a short note instead of a full recap.
Can I reply to the recap?
Yes. It's a normal message, so you can answer it with something like "move the bank call to Tuesday at 11" and Mindie updates the reminder.
Does the recap include my calendar meetings?
The recap is built from what you did with Mindie: notes, reminders and your conversation. For meetings, ask "what do I have this week?" and Mindie reads your connected calendar.
Can the recap be sent to my team or a group?
No. It comes only to your own chat with Mindie. Mindie doesn't post in groups or message other people.
