Mindie on Telegram, with the same memory as WhatsApp
Updated .
Mindie started on WhatsApp, and plenty of people spend their day in Telegram instead, or in both. Mindie on Telegram is the same assistant: you text it in plain words, send a voice note or a photo, and it turns that into reminders, notes, lists and calendar events, then messages you at the right time.
It isn't a second copy. Your WhatsApp and Telegram chats share one account and one memory, so anything you save in one app is there when you ask in the other.

How to set it up
- Start your Mindie plan with a WhatsApp number linked. Every feature is free for 7 days.
- Open Integrations in your dashboard and tap Connect Telegram.
- Tap Start in the Mindie bot that opens in Telegram. If the app doesn't open, copy the
/startmessage shown on the card and send it to @mindieapp_bot. - Say hello. Mindie replies "Telegram connected!" and is ready.
Choose where reminders arrive
Reminders, morning briefings and recaps go to WhatsApp until you change it. In Settings > Send alerts on, pick:
- WhatsApp: alerts stay on WhatsApp, and Telegram is for chatting and saving.
- Telegram: alerts move to Telegram.
- Both: every alert arrives in both apps.
Each reminder on Telegram comes with Done, Snooze 15 min and Tomorrow buttons. With alerts on both, tapping Done on one copy closes the reminder everywhere. If you tap Snooze on the other copy afterwards, Mindie tells you it's already done and asks before bringing it back.
What works on Telegram
Everything Mindie does on WhatsApp:
- Reminders in plain words, one-off or repeating
- Nag mode, done, snooze and undo
- Notes you can ask about later, and lists
- Voice notes and screenshots or photos
- Habits and streaks, goals, briefings and the weekly recap
- Google Calendar, Outlook and Notion
Good to know
Mindie on Telegram works in your private chat with Mindie, not in Telegram groups. Trying Mindie without signing up is WhatsApp only, and buying a plan needs a WhatsApp number, because each number gets one free trial. If your plan ends, Mindie pauses on Telegram with a link to renew, and your reminders go to WhatsApp until it's active again.
Mindie is $9 a month or $90 a year after the 7-day trial. See pricing or start your free trial.
Questions
Does Mindie work on Telegram?
Yes. Mindie works on Telegram as well as WhatsApp. Reminders, notes, lists, voice notes, photos, habits, goals and your Google or Outlook Calendar all work the same in both apps.
Is my data shared between WhatsApp and Telegram?
Yes. It's one account and one memory. Save a note on WhatsApp and ask for it on Telegram, or set a reminder on Telegram and see it in your dashboard and on WhatsApp.
Where do my reminders arrive?
You choose in Settings > Send alerts on: WhatsApp, Telegram or both. WhatsApp is the default. With both, each reminder arrives in both apps, and tapping Done on either copy closes it.
How do I connect Telegram?
In your Mindie dashboard, open Integrations and tap Connect Telegram. Telegram opens the Mindie bot; tap Start. If Telegram doesn't open, the card shows a short /start message to copy and send to @mindieapp_bot yourself.
Do I need a WhatsApp number to use Mindie on Telegram?
Yes. Telegram comes with a Mindie plan (the 7-day trial counts) and works alongside a WhatsApp number linked to your account. If your plan ends, Mindie pauses on Telegram and your reminders go to WhatsApp.
Do messages on Telegram count towards my plan's limit?
They share one monthly allowance with WhatsApp. On the trial, the trial's message allowance covers both apps together.
Can Mindie on Telegram read voice notes and photos?
Yes. Send a voice note or a photo of a ticket, a bill or a handwritten list, and Mindie turns it into a reminder, a list or a note, just as on WhatsApp.
Mindie works inside WhatsApp and connects to the services named on this page, but isn't affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp, Meta, Google, Microsoft or Notion. Checked on 3 November 2026.
