Google Keep alternative: reminders in WhatsApp
Updated . Prices and features checked against each product's own website.
If you want a Google Keep alternative because notes pile up and you never find them again, Mindie keeps notes, lists and reminders in a WhatsApp chat and finds them when you ask. Text "note: spare key is with Ana" today, and ask "where's the spare key?" in three months.
Keep is free, quick and visual, and many people love it.

The short answer
- Stay with Google Keep if you like a visual board of notes with colours and labels, share lists with family, or use location reminders.
- Try Mindie if you send yourself WhatsApp messages as notes already, or you want to find notes by asking rather than scrolling.

Where Google Keep is better
Keep shows everything at a glance as cards. You can colour, pin, label and share them, draw, and add images. It's free and syncs with your Google account. For a visual thinker, a chat won't feel the same.
Where Mindie fits
Mindie is a contact in your WhatsApp. You text it the way you'd text a friend ("pay rent on the 5th at 10am"), or send a voice note or a screenshot, and it replies with the time it understood. If you leave out a time, it asks. At the right moment it messages you in the same chat, and you reply to move or cancel the reminder.
Notes, lists and reminders all go to the same place. "Add milk and eggs to groceries" updates a list. "Note: car service was at 42,300 km" saves a note. A photo of a handwritten list becomes a saved list. Nothing to file, because you find things by asking.
The "message yourself" habit
Plenty of people already use WhatsApp's "message yourself" chat as a notes app. Mindie is that habit with memory: the same chat, but it understands what you saved and can remind you about it.
Price
Mindie is free for 7 days with every feature. A card is saved at checkout, nothing is charged during the trial, and Mindie texts you two days before it ends. After that it's $9 a month or $90 a year, with a 7-day money-back guarantee on the first payment. Cancel any time by texting "cancel". See pricing or start your trial.
Questions
Can I find a note without searching manually?
Yes. Ask Mindie in your own words, like "what was the wifi password at Mum's?", and it finds the note.
Does Mindie have colour-coded notes or labels?
No. Notes are text you send and find again by asking. Keep's colours, labels and pinned cards don't have an equivalent.
Can I share a list?
No. Mindie's lists are personal for now.
Can I add to a list by voice?
Yes. Send a voice note like "add oats and lemons to my shopping list", and Mindie adds each item.
Can a note have a reminder?
Yes. Say both in one message, like "save the parking spot number and remind me at 5 to move the car".
