Pokobot alternative: Mindie vs Pokobot
Updated . Prices and features checked against each product's own website.
Pokobot and Mindie are close: both live in WhatsApp, both take reminders in plain words, and both keep a list in the same chat. Pokobot's bot, Poko, leans toward nudges for you and the people around you, with a no-card trial and a lower price. Mindie leans toward everything you'd otherwise jot down: notes, lists, screenshots, and events in Google Calendar or Outlook, plus Notion.
The short answer
- Choose Pokobot if you want to remind family or friends, book Google Meet calls from the chat, start a trial without a card, or write in a language outside Mindie's five.
- Choose Mindie if you use Outlook Calendar or Notion, want notes and several named lists, send screenshots and voice notes, or want a morning briefing and weekly review.

Where Pokobot is ahead
Poko can nudge someone else. Its website describes sending a reminder to family, friends or teammates after they've agreed to get it, which suits a parent who wants a teen reminded about practice. Mindie only ever messages you.
It also books meetings. Connect Google Calendar and Poko can create a Google Meet link and email invites to guests from one message, per its features page. Mindie adds events to Google Calendar or Outlook, but it doesn't send invitations or make meeting links.
On cost and sign-up, Pokobot is easier to start: no card for the 7-day trial, and a lower price in the US. Its home page also lists 50+ languages, far more than Mindie's five.
Where Mindie is different
Mindie keeps more than reminders. You can save notes, keep several lists ("add oat milk to groceries", "packing list for Denver"), and ask for them back. A photo of a handwritten list becomes a saved list; a screenshot of a ticket can become a reminder or a calendar event. See screenshot to reminder and WhatsApp lists.
It also reaches more calendars and tools. Mindie works with Google Calendar and Outlook, so you can add an event or ask what's on this week from the chat. Messages with a #hashtag go to your Notion database when it's connected. More in Outlook Calendar on WhatsApp.
Check-ins and habits
Both apps keep you honest about routines. Pokobot's accountability check-ins ask about one daily activity and keep weekly and lifetime progress. Mindie tracks habits with streaks, keeps goals, and has a nag mode that keeps nudging until you reply done. If you'd like a single summary, Mindie's morning briefing, evening recap and weekly review are opt-in.
Repeating reminders
Pokobot lists daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and custom repeats. Mindie covers the same ground and adds patterns like every 3 hours, weekdays only, or "every month until June", and it can end a series after a set number of times. Reply done, snooze or undo to any reminder. See recurring reminders.
Which should you pick?
Pick Pokobot if the reminders are partly for other people, if you book Google Meet calls often, or if you want the lowest price and no card up front.
Pick Mindie if WhatsApp is where you dump everything (lists, notes, screenshots, voice notes) and you want it to land in Google Calendar, Outlook or Notion. The guide to WhatsApp reminder apps compares more options.
Price
Pokobot's pricing page says prices depend on your phone number's country; in the US and other higher-income countries it lists $4.99 a month or $39 a year, after a 7-day trial with no card. Every feature is on every plan.
You can try Mindie on WhatsApp with no sign-up. The 7-day free trial includes every feature, with a card saved at checkout. After that Mindie is $9 a month or $90 a year, with a 7-day money-back guarantee. A $99 lifetime plan is open to the first 50 buyers outside the UK and EU. See pricing or start your trial.
