Mindie for caregivers
Updated .
Mindie is a WhatsApp assistant that helps family caregivers keep medicines, refills, doctor visits and care notes in one chat. Send "every day at 8am and 8pm remind me to give Mum her blood pressure tablet" and Mindie reminds you twice a day.
Caring for a parent, partner or child with health needs means carrying a second schedule on top of your own. Medicine times, refills, appointments, test results and what the doctor said last time all sit in your head, alongside everything else.

Notes from the doctor
What caregivers use it for
- Medicine times, daily or several times a day. See medicine reminders.
- Refills, a week before they run out.
- Doctor visits and tests, with a reminder the day before.
- Care notes: what the doctor said, readings, symptoms to mention next time.
- A medicine list to show at the pharmacy or a new doctor.
Why it fits
- Voice notes in the clinic. Record what the doctor said before you forget.
- Photos of prescriptions. Send one and Mindie reads the details, then sets reminders after you confirm.
- A Sunday recap of the week's appointments and refills.
How it works
Link your number, then send reminders, notes and lists in words, voice notes or photos. Mindie confirms each one and messages you on time, in your timezone.
What Mindie doesn't do
- It doesn't message the person you care for, or their doctors.
- It isn't medical advice and isn't an alarm. For anything critical to the minute, use an alarm too.
Questions
Can Mindie remind my parent directly?
Only if they have their own Mindie account on their own WhatsApp. Mindie only messages the person whose chat it is.
Can I keep a list of all their medicines?
Yes. Keep a note or list with each medicine and dose, and ask for it at the pharmacy or the doctor.
Is this medical advice?
No. Mindie keeps the schedule you give it. Medicine and dosing decisions belong with the doctor.
Mindie works in your own WhatsApp chat: it reminds you, and never messages your clients, patients or family for you. Checked on 29 October 2026.
