WhatsApp business card
Updated .
A WhatsApp business card is a short introduction you can paste into any chat: who you are, what you do, a link that opens a WhatsApp chat with you, and your website. Fill in the details, copy the intro, and download a contact file people can save in one tap.
Hi! I'm your name.
When to use it
- After meeting someone, instead of a paper card that gets lost.
- In a group chat, when someone asks "who do you know who does...?"
- At the end of an email, so clients can reach you on WhatsApp.
- On social profiles, with the chat link from the WhatsApp link generator.
What makes a good intro
Keep it to three or four lines. Say what you do in plain words, for the person reading it, not a job title. "I design calm, practical homes in London" says more than "Interior Design Consultant".
Remember to follow up
Handing out the card is the easy part. Following up with the people you met is where it slips. Mindie is a WhatsApp contact for your own reminders: "remind me Friday at 10 to follow up with Sarah from the conference". It never messages anyone else for you. Every feature is free for 7 days.
Questions
What is the contact file?
A .vcf file, the standard contact card format. Send it in WhatsApp or by email, and people can save your name, business, number and website in one tap.
Do I need WhatsApp Business?
No. The intro and link work with a normal WhatsApp account too.
Is anything I type saved?
No. The card is built in your browser and nothing is sent to Mindie.
This tool runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent to Mindie or saved. Checked on 29 October 2026.
