ClickUp alternative: simple reminders in WhatsApp
Updated . Prices and features checked against each product's own website.
If you're looking for a ClickUp alternative because you set up a whole workspace and only ever used it to remember things, Mindie keeps reminders, notes and short lists in a WhatsApp chat. There's nothing to configure.
ClickUp covers a lot of ground, and for teams that use it fully it's hard to replace.

The short answer
- Stay with ClickUp if you run projects with a team and use its docs, chat, whiteboards, automations and many views.
- Try Mindie if you want one simple place for your own reminders, and you'd rather get them in WhatsApp than in another app's notifications.

Where ClickUp is better
ClickUp puts tasks, docs, chat and whiteboards in one workspace. You get list, board, calendar and table views on every plan, automations, and unlimited tasks even on the free plan. Its reminders are strong too: you can set them from anywhere, make them repeat, turn a comment into a reminder, snooze or reschedule them from Home, and hand them to a teammate on paid plans. If your team lives in ClickUp, that's the right home for shared work.
Where Mindie fits
Mindie is a contact in your WhatsApp. You text it the way you'd text a friend ("pay rent on the 5th at 10am"), or send a voice note or a screenshot, and it replies with the time it understood. If you leave out a time, it asks. At the right moment it messages you in the same chat, and you reply to mark it done, snooze it or move it.
That's the whole setup. No spaces, folders or lists to arrange first. Ask "what's on this week?" and Mindie tells you, and the opt-in weekly review gives you the week ahead on Sunday.
Using both
Keep ClickUp for team work and send Mindie your personal reminders, the ones that don't belong in a shared workspace. Mindie doesn't connect to ClickUp yet; a ClickUp integration is coming soon.
Price
Mindie is free for 7 days with every feature. A card is saved at checkout, nothing is charged during the trial, and Mindie texts you two days before it ends. After that it's $9 a month or $90 a year, with a 7-day money-back guarantee on the first payment. Cancel any time by texting "cancel". See pricing or start your trial.
Questions
Is Mindie a ClickUp replacement?
Not for teams or projects. Mindie has no spaces, docs, boards, subtasks or chat. It's for one person's reminders, notes and short lists.
Does Mindie connect to ClickUp?
Not yet. A ClickUp integration is coming soon. For now the two run separately.
Can Mindie remind me again if I ignore it?
Yes. Turn on nag mode for a reminder and Mindie keeps nudging until you reply done.
Do I need to set anything up first?
No workspaces or spaces. Link your WhatsApp number and send your first message. That's the main difference from a tool with this many options.
Can I use voice notes on the way to work?
Yes. Record what you need, and Mindie writes it out and turns it into a reminder or list item. Voice notes work in five languages.
