Annual physical reminder on WhatsApp
Updated .
An annual physical reminder on WhatsApp is a yearly message that tells you it's time to book your checkup, before another year goes by. With Mindie, send "every year on 1 February at 9am remind me to book my annual physical" and it comes back every February.
When you feel fine, a checkup is easy to postpone. Nothing hurts, the clinic needs a call, and a year turns into two. The yearly visit is where small things get caught early.

Questions for the doctor
When to be reminded
- A few weeks before you want the appointment, to book a time that suits you.
- The night before, for any fasting or paperwork your clinic asked for.
- The morning of, with the time and what to bring.
Why it gets postponed
- No symptoms, no urgency.
- Booking takes effort, and it waits for a free moment that never comes.
- Questions are forgotten in the room, so the visit feels less useful.
Habits that help
- Pick a month you'll remember, like your birthday month or the start of the year.
- Keep a running list of questions in Mindie through the year.
- Book follow-ups before you leave and send the date straight to Mindie.
How Mindie handles it
Send the yearly reminder once. Add a one-off for the night before when you have the appointment, and a list for your questions. Mindie sends everything in your timezone and syncs to Google Calendar or Outlook if you've connected them.
What Mindie doesn't do
- It isn't medical advice. Your doctor decides what tests and checks you need.
- It doesn't book appointments or contact your clinic.
- Reminders come only to your own chat.
Questions
When should I set the booking reminder?
A few weeks before you want the appointment. Many clinics book out, so earlier gives you more choice of times.
Can Mindie tell me which tests I need?
No. That's for your doctor. Mindie reminds you to book and keeps your questions in a list.
Can I set it for my partner too?
Mindie only messages you, so set a reminder for yourself to remind them, or they can set up their own Mindie.
What should I write in the reminder?
Write the action: "book my physical with Dr Hall's office". You can add the clinic's number, so everything you need is in the message.
Can I keep questions for the doctor?
Yes. Add them to a list as you think of them, like "add to my doctor list: ask about knee pain", and ask for the list before you go.
This page explains how to set the reminder with Mindie. It isn't financial, legal or medical advice; check dates and doses with the people who set them. Checked on 31 October 2026.
