Where alfred_ is ahead

alfred_ works on your inbox. Per its site, you can ask about your email by text, have replies drafted and sent after you approve them, and get a text when an important email arrives. It connects up to six email and calendar accounts on its Starter plan, plus Slack, Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoom. Mindie doesn't touch email or those tools.

It also reaches iMessage, RCS and SMS, so it works without WhatsApp, and it has quiet hours and per-text on/off controls. Its Pro and Team plans add onboarding with the alfred_ team, and Team adds a management console for a company.

Where Mindie is different

Mindie is for the personal side of remembering. Text "renew passport by March 15, heads-up two weeks before" or send a voice note, and Mindie sets it and warns you ahead. Repeating reminders cover weekdays, every N hours or weeks, monthly and yearly. Reply done, snooze or undo; nag mode keeps nudging until you finish.

It keeps notes and lists, tracks habits with streaks and goals, reads screenshots into reminders or events, and saves #hashtag messages to Notion. It costs less than a third of alfred_'s monthly Starter price. See WhatsApp reminders.

Calendars

Both connect Google Calendar and Outlook. With Mindie you add an event or ask what's on this week from WhatsApp, and link both at once. alfred_ goes further on the work side: adding meetings, texting before they start and flagging changes. More in Outlook Calendar on WhatsApp.
